I haven't been blogging for the past few days because I've been so busy. Finals are coming up and I'm also trying out for this dance crew called Non-Stop. They're located in Oxnard/Channel Islands. Auditions are tomorrow and the workshop was last week Saturday. Umm, what else to talk about? I'm currently bored right now. I just finished doing a drawing of my friend Giselle (she likes to be called Lauren) and I think I did a good job. I'll post the pictures up when I'm not too lazy. I'm super tired right now. I'm waiting for my parents to pick me up and they're fishing right now. I've been waiting fort he bus ever since 5:00 and it hasn't come yet and if I wait for the bus, I'm gonna miss my other bus stop which leaves at 6:00 and it's alraedy 5:53 and it hasn't come yet...umm what else happened this week? oh my awding Shanel's birthday was on Wednesday. She's legal! Yay! Now she can do 18 year old stuff..haha. well, you're gonna see me in the FICC band soon, keep a look out. and I'm also gonna be in some upcoming films soon so keep yer eyes and ears out for news. and of course I'll keep ya'll posted. well I'm outs!

September 22, 2008-Pearly whites

Today I went to the dentist to get my pearly whites to become white again. During the afternoon I talked to best friend Angelica. We came up with this plan to prank call my other best friend Sarah. We decided that I was gonna text her and pretend that I was Napoleon Dynamite. and it came to pass when she texted me back and asked 'seriously. who's this?' and i said 'Napoleon Dynamite. Don't believe me? call me and find out.' and she actually did! then when i answered, i made my best Napoleon impersonation and she hung up right after. Me and my best friend Angelica just kept laughing!!! then I decided to call Sarah and tell her that it was me because I wouldn't want her to be freaked out all night...Afterwards, I just played video games and watched the season 7 premiere of watched Dancing with the stars. I then realized that I had a paper due the next day, so I had to give up Dancing with the stars and do my paper. Then, I found out that I FINALLY got my ABDC Tour tickets! [which costs $66. i checked where I'm seated and I'm seated in the back row of the first floor! i hope and PRAY that the seats are elevated...] I just can't wait...

I finished this on Sunday, but I forgot to post it on that blog so here is the The Hulk drawing I did as Ceezy's birthday present...

Today was Hannah’s 7th birthday party. I was the dj, but no one wanted to dance. After the party, I worked on a drawing of The Hulk for Ceezy because his birthday is tomorrow. Afterwards, I watched The Bodyguard 2 (ft. Tony Jaa of Ong Bak & The Protector) with my parents & then I went to the theaters to watch The Mummy:Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. It was ok. It can't compare to the first two Mummy movies...

Today, I went shopping with my mom and ate at Taco Bell. Then afterwards, I went to go visit my best friend at her school because I was going to surprise her with a drawing I did for her. Then after that, I just went to church. If I only knew that there was gonna be a surprise going away party for Shanel, i would of worn a different shirt because I wore a yellow USC shirt and she's going to UCLA... I'M TRULY GONNA MISS HER despite all the things that we've gone through. There's just a piece of her in my heart that will stick with me forever. Later that night, I talked to my best buddie Jenn who just made my night better. Thanks buddie. =)

Today was the 7 year anniversary the Twin Towers fell. Today is also my cousin Tiffany's birthday. Then I watched America's Got Talent because today is the eliminations to decide who goes on to be in the top 10. AND I can't believe Sickstep didn't make it! When I looked at the top 10, most of them are singers! There's NO dance group! Out of all the dance groups that were in the top 20, NONE of them made it. How gay is that? I guess the next winner is gonna be a singer...

Today, I just went to church. Then afterwards it was my auntie Lorena's baby shower. It was fun. We played Pictionary and I was the artist because I'm majoring in visual art and design, so I might as well be the artist right? and guess what? our team WON! YAY! I guess my major in visual art and design is paying off! haha. Then afterwards, I just stayed home and played video games and watched part of The Scorpion King 2.

September 6, 2008-Taboo

Today was REALLY FUN. I went to go visit my friend so he could hook me up with some movies and he gave me a grip. Then afterwards, I went to Del Amo Mall to go shopping with my Ate Jenn and my distant cousin Erica. I just bought this game called B-Boy because I am a B-Boy and just to see a video game created about breakdancing, I HAD to buy it. Then I went to Aeropostale and Suncoast. Then my Ate Jenn told me that an old friend's son was having a birthday party. I later found out it was my Ate Marie's son's (Maurice) birthday. So that means FREE FOOD! haha. While I was there, it was pretty boring until someone talked to me about my shirt. I was wearing the 'I AM SO REAL" shirt made famous by SoReal Cru. So, we were talking about ABDC and the VMA awards and how she likes this crew and that crew and it was interesting to talk to someone who is NOT around my age talk about dancing. After that, we played this game called Taboo. This game is SO0O0O0O FUN! After playing it for about 3 hours, I have to go out and buy it. Basically, there is a word on the card and you have to try your best to get your group to say the word without saying the other words on the card. For example:the person giving the clues might have to get his or her team to say "baseball" BUT he CAN'T say "sport," "game," "pastime," "hitter," "pitcher," nor "baseball." Get it? TODAY WAS SO0O0 FUN! I might even get a chance to go to the ABDC Tour to watch the JabbaWockeeZ, BreakSK8, and A.S.I.I.D because the person I met can get tickets. YAY!

Today I just stayed home and played video games. Then, I headed to FICC to celebrate Ate Jean's birthday. The theme was a kiddie theme, so everyone had to wear clothes as if they were little kids. There was a pinata and we even played musical chairs. Then later that night, I headed home because my Ate Joyce came back from Boston and she's staying here for a couple of days. Then I stayed up all night trying to fix some things.

Today is the first day of me being independent. and the thing that sucks is that my parents took my car and left in at the airport. So I basically had to ride the bus if I had to go places. The reason they took my car to the airport is because no one was able to bring them to the airport that early in the morning and on that day. so yeah. I just went to visit my friend so he can hook me up with some movies, but he wasn't home. so I headed out to Carson High because it was the first day of school for them and I wanted to visit some old teachers. I ended up doing a pep-rally for them and played in the DrumLine. I played the quads. I saw a couple of people there that I was surprised to see. It was cool seeing them again and some old teachers. Then after that, I went to Carson Mall/Big 5. They didn't have what I was looking for, so I headed over to Target. I just bought Madagascar on dvd because I haven't seen it yet (can you believe it?) and Madagascar Escape 2 Africa is coming out on November 7. So, I HAD to watch part one. After that, I just went to go sleep at my cousin's house.

Today I just had school. My group and I didn't know that our mid-term project as due today, so we bust our butts trying to work on it and get it done on time. Thank God that we wee able to finish it and turn it in on time. But the bad thing is we weren't there to attend the lecture. and we have a mid-term test the following week, so most likely I'm gonna fail the test, unless someone took notes and is willing to give it to me. Also, today my parents are getting ready to go South Carolina the following day. They are gonna be gone for five days because they were gonna attend a wedding. I just hope Hurricane Hannah doest impact it too much. Then my parents and I had a long talk about me being independent and trying to manage my time and money. and how them being gone for 5 days is like a test on those things. Basically they want me to prove to them that I can be trusted alone. That's about it.

My labor day weekend was okay. Just went electronic shopping with my dad, watched Son of Rambow, (yes that's how it's spelled) and played Kingdom Hearts II. that's basically it. Nothing special. Just thought about HER...

I just don't get it. I gave her a gift and all I get is a simple "Thank You." As I was going to give her a hug, she moved away as if she was in a hurry to leave that I just ended up tapping her on the shoulder. BUT when HE gave her a gift, she gave him a BIG HUG as if she hasn't seen him in a long time. AND she only knows him for about 2 months while I've known her for about 2 years...What are my close friends turning into?

Today, I had school (again) . I had to present a piece of music that you like and explain why you like it for my Humanities class. The piece I chose to do is Sequence which is done by the USC Drumline. here is the video.


I attempted to perform the piece and I did well. (probably because my old drum teacher taught me...) I hope I got an A because if I didn't, then that's mess. I went all out by performing it and I get a grade lower than an A...

August 24, 2008 [MY BIRTHDAY!]

Well, my birthday was today. I turned 20. yay?!? Nothing really special happened today. I just went to church, then I went to eat at Claim Jumper with my parents, then I went to visit my old church, then I stayed home. I slept for 3 hours, then I woke up to watch the ending ceremony of the Olympics. It was AMAZING! that's probably the highlight of my day. Then after that, I played bowling on my Wii. Pretty boring 20th birthday huh? I just wanna say THANKS to all the people that ACTUALLY remembered my birthday and greeted me. I LOVE YA'LL!
